Hi! We are Sofia and Max — a photography duo and a couple based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Our work focuses on portraits, reportage, and conceptual/staged images within the fields of editorial, commercial, and image photography.

We first met during our studies at FH Dortmund in 2018. Since then, our photographic careers have developed separately, but with constant support and feedback for each other's projects. Helping each other out with assignments gave us insight into how the other approaches clients and light shaping. This experience has laid a strong foundation for our first collaborative work in 2024. Max’s experimental and playful style, combined with Sofia’s ability to create authentic depth in portraits, results in a broader perspective on the subject.
